JORT BROWN HERRINGBONE SUIT
£899.00Country life would be amiss without a tweed suit, but this JORT Collection version is equally suitable for the city. For this three-piece, we looked to Magee, a 150-year-old Irish weaver who’s devoted itself to a handwoven and consistent style of tweed fabric. The fabric has been crafted in the county Donegal for a long time, particularly for those who must defy the damp and cold of northwestern Irish. Suppleness is crucial in the JORT Collection, even in herringbone tweed. After weaving, the fabrics are washed at Magee, in the crystal-clear water of the River Eske flowing alongside the mill. The result is a soft and stylish suit finished with patch pockets and traditional leather buttons.

Jort Dark Grey Stripe Suit Pure Wool
£899.00To find the building blocks for the suit of our dreams, the Jort Collection traditionally likes to call on the weaver family of Vitale Barberis Canonico. We often select sophisticated fabrics, like this stylish and understated chalk stripe cloth in Super 120 wool. This traditional material was a great favorite of Prince Edward, the eldest, stylish, son of King George V of the United Kingdom. Prince Edward brought the chalk stripe out of its London shell, making himself look just that little bit taller. Just as the Savile Row tailors, Prince Edward knew that thin vertical stripes can give you authority as well as a sense of height.

Jort Dark Grey Suit Wool Silk
£799.00The double-breasted suit was the clothing of choice of royalty and racketeers, and has been making quite a comeback over the past few seasons. At one point, it had a great advocate in Prince Edward, the eldest, stylish, son of King George V of the United Kingdom. With the help of his tailors, Edward brought the double-breasted suit out of its London shell. He had the suit, which until then had been quite rare, redesigned to make it more comfortable, giving it the nickname of “lounge suit”. And our suit is even more comfortable because our weaver Colombo has combined 85% wool with 15% silk for a super soft wearing comfort.

JORT LIGHT BROWN CHECK SUIT
£799.00The JORT Collection often honors, aristocratic rural life with its tweeds, Viyella shirts and sturdy moleskin trousers. However, the JORT Collection gladly deviates from British Savile Row traditions in pursuit of a slightly more modern design. In short, no overly thick fabrics lacking suppleness, but a 2-buttoned suit with a striking check pattern, woven in a mix of 90% wool and 10% cashmere by E. Thomas. A jealousy-inducing, comfortable, single-breasted suit that’s perfectly suitable for both the countryside and life in the city.

After arriving in Italy, the wool undergoes 94 different production phases, and no less than 18 checks to guarantee the softest result possible. Jort Mid Blue Stripe Suit
£799.00If your suit should also be a private pleasure, choose a suit that is at home in the city as it is inside office walls. Some associate a pinstripe suit with some mafioso style, but long before the pinstripe suit would make its début in Chicago, it had already been seen in a large part of the world. Italian royalty and the London Mayfair had discovered the fabric long before it would be seen in the New World. We have given this traditionally slightly more formal suit some extra luxury by combining an extremely comfortable weaving of 96% Super 150 wool with 4% silk. Single-breasted and finished with patch pockets
